The URL Extractor (URLE) obtains the location a web page was saved from and places the obtained URL in the Windows Clipboard. The program uses a special feature that requires the web page to have been saved with Internet Explorer.

Get a Copy of URLE:

Please keep in mind that by using the program, you agree to the terms of use in the End-User License Agreement.
The needed files are in a zip-type file. If you are unable to open it, then click on the hyperlink to download WinZip from www.winzip.com.

If this is the first time you are downloading a ZCP product, please download and install the Visual Basic Run Time first.

Get URLE Now (Version 1.0.4)

After downloading the software, extract the three files (Setup.exe, Setup.lst, and URLE.cab) to a folder and follow the procedure which most accurately describes your installation.

Upgrading URLE

  1. Follow the instructions for uninstalling URLE.
  2. Follow the instructions for installing URLE.

Installing URLE

  1. Run Setup.exe
  2. Follow the instructions.
  3. Remove the files you extracted from urle.zip if desired.

If the program does not successfully start, please download the Visual Basic Run-Time Files from Microsoft by clicking here.

Uninstalling URLE

  1. Select Remove Agreement to EULA from the Help menu.
  2. Go to the Start menu and select Settings.
  3. Click Control Panel.
  4. Select Add/Remove Programs.
  5. Select URL Extractor.
  6. Click Add/Remove
  7. Click Yes and follow the prompts' instructions.
